Roots of Knowledge Tutoring (ROKT) is a culturally responsive reading tutoring service designed to serve students in underserved communities throughout Los Angeles County. Our mission is to close literacy gaps, strengthen academic confidence, and empower families by delivering free high-quality culturally affirming reading instruction. ROKT will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring for students in grades K–5, with an initial focus on early literacy and reading intervention.
